Champagne La Vigne d’Antan 2006 by Tarlant is an extraordinary Blanc de Blancs cuvée, telling a story of memory, resilience, and a profound connection to the land. It is made from Chardonnay grapes sourced from “franc de pied” vines – ungrafted – planted over 60 years ago in the sandy vineyard of Les Sables, in the Vallée de la Marne, a rare ecosystem in Champagne where phylloxera cannot thrive. This unique condition allows the genetic integrity of the vines to be preserved and the true character of the grape and terroir to be expressed with absolute purity.

The 2006 vintage, marked by a sunny and generous climate, has endowed the wine with depth, aromatic richness, and great balance. Vinification takes place in fût de chêne, without malolactic fermentation, in order to maintain the wine’s natural freshness and vibrant tension. After an extended ageing of over 15 years on the lees, the wine is disgorged without dosage (0 g/L), to offer a pure and authentic expression.
