Prélude
The Champagne Prélude by Taittinger is an exceptional cuvée, made exclusively from Chardonnay (50%) and Pinot Noir (50%), selected from the finest Grands Crus vineyards, classified 100% according to the Champagne quality scale. The choice to use only first press musts gives this rare blend the finesse and structurenecessary for long aging. After more than five years of aging in the cellar, Prélude Grands Crus stands out for its remarkable youth and aromatic depth.
On tasting, Prélude presents a brilliant pale yellow color with silver highlights, a sign of the high proportion of exceptional Chardonnay. The fine, persistent bubbles form a delicately creamy ring of foam, heralding a refined sensory experience. On the nose, the bouquet is subtle and fresh, with initial mineral notes giving way to green and floral aromas, including the fragrance of elderflower, accompanied by spicy hints of cinnamon. On the palate, the entry is clean and lively, dominated by extremely fresh citrus notes, which evolve into a fuller, silkier texture, with hints of syrupy white peaches. The finish is rich, lingering, and bursting with flavor, revealing a perfect balance between freshness and aromatic complexity.
