The Champagne Extra Brut by Marie-Noëlle Ledru originates in the Grand Cru village of Ambonnay, in the Montagne de Reims, and represents an authentic and rigorous expression of this terroir, where Pinot Noir conveys depth and character, supported by a component of Chardonnay. The vigneronne’s approach, essential and uncompromising, aims to deliver in the glass the full precision and identity of the vineyard through a coherent and artisanal vision.
This cuvée takes shape through vinification and fermentation focused on maximum expressive purity, followed by lees ageing that enhances complexity and depth while maintaining balance. The very low final dosage, in Extra Brut style, highlights the wine’s natural tension and emphasizes its most direct and territorial character.
On the palate, it stands out for an intense and precise profile, with notes of red fruits, citrus, and subtle floral and mineral nuances. The structure is broad and dynamic, supported by vibrant freshness that leads to a long, savory, and elegant finish, clearly expressing the wine’s vinosity and distinctive character.
