In the small village of Chigny-les-Roses, in the Champagne region, the Cattier family has been looking after its vineyards since 1763. Today the cave is still independent and managed by the family, together with a few workers. The founder Jean-Jacques Cattier controls the Chateau wine production; thanks to limited annual harvesting, Mr Cattier and his staff can still stick to traditions for every single bottle.

The Cattier caves are among the oldest and deepest of the Champagne region, characterised by three different architecture styles: Gothic, Renaissance and Roman; Champagne Armand de Brignac ages in a special sectionm in the deepest part of the cave - 30m below the surface. The family spent centuries in improving the Champagne production and their knowledge is to be found in every Cuvée Armand de Brignac.

The Cuvées Armand de Brignac gain their gold color and a fine perlage thanks to Chardonnay grapes, while Pinot Noir ensures structure, strength and depth to the palate. Pinot Meunier adds roundness, nuances and fruity flavours to the Cuvées. Armand de Brignac selects these grapes from the best vineyards in La Marne, including the villages classified Grand Cru, such as Cramant, Avize, Oger and Choilly, and Premier Cru, like Ludes, Rilly-la-Montagne, Villers Allerand, Taissy, Villers Marmery and Mareuil-sur-Ay.

Originally inspired by the well-known fashion brand André Courrèges, the bottles are decorated by a unique factory in the French region of Cognac and are provided with four pewter plates, manually sticked to the surface of the bottle. Each bottle without label is inserted in an elegant wooden black case, with a cut tin plate, covered in an elegant black velvet and embossed with the brand symbol.
