Champagne Tristan Hyest
Rosé La Grapillère 2011

The Champagne Rosé La Grapillère 2011 by Tristan Hyest is the result of the assemblage of all three Champagne varieties, coming from the same-name parcel (Lieu-Dit) La Grapillère, in Vallée de la Marne: 55% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir and 15% Meunier. Zero dosage (0 g/l - Extra Brut) to preserve all its characteristics.

Ripe fruit, candied peel, honey and walnuts are just some of the scents suggested to the nose by Rosé La Grapillère 2011 by Tristan Hyest In the mouth the perlage is very light and the bubble thin, but excellent and long in the end. A bottle to be tasted during refined aperitifs or throughout the meal with raw seafood or steamed shellfish.

Champagne Tristan Hyest

Tristan Hyest probably fully represents the figure of the artisan vigneron, the small Champagne producer, strongly tied to his terroir and coming from a family tradition of winemakers: his father above all, to whom Tristan owes much and from whom he took over the Domaine in Trélou-sur-Marne, in the area of Vallée de la Marne about 18 years ago. Tristan, in fact, has always maintained the philosophy and values transmitted by the family, those of cultivating the land with respect and awareness, through a viticulture as natural as possible. The company is quite recent because his father settled in Trélou-sur-Marne as an oenologist in the early '80s, having previously worked for several producers and having acquired essential skills for the work of the land and the vineyard.

The son, following in his father's footsteps, studied oenology and in 1999 decided to join the family business with the desire to enrich his father's experience for one day to make wine from his own cuvées. In 2001 Tristan personally took control of the vineyards and then in 2003, with a small estate of 2.5 hectares, Tristan decided to start creating its own cuvées. And it hasn't taken long to produce creative Champagnes that take on a unique style and a well-defined identity, the result of his terroir. To date Tristan has increased its production by buying a few more acres and working all three varieties typical of Champagne (Chardonnay, Meunier and Pinot Noir). Drinking Tristan Hyest Champagnes is sharing his passion for the vineyards and his wine and fully perceiving the work of a small producer dedicated to quality.
