Rosé Les Vignes de Charles
The Champagne Rosé Les Vignes de Charles from Domaine C.H. Piconnet is a rare and distinctive cuvée, crafted from a blend of 40% Pinot Noir (15% of which is vinified as red wine), 30% Pinot Blanc, and 30% Chardonnay. This edition comes from the 2017 harvest: vinification takes place in stainless steel, followed—after tirage—by a long 48-month ageing on the lees. No final dosage – 0 g/l Brut Nature – to highlight the purity of the terroir and the essential style of the Maison.
On the palate, Rosé Les Vignes de Charles reveals an intense pink hue and a fine stream of bubbles. The nose offers notes of raspberry, blood orange, and bread crust, shaping a broad and lively aromatic profile. The attack is round and supple, then unfolds into a fresher, taut, and vibrant expression, with a precise and energetic finish.
Production is extremely limited: just 1,358 bottles and 90 magnums, a true expression of artisanal craftsmanship and meticulous attention to quality.
