The limited edition Champagne Perrier-Jouët Belle Èpoque 2015 created by Fernando Laposse is part of a set of creations commissioned by the Maison to the Mexican artist and designer.

In 2023, Maison Perrier-Jouët continues to emphasise the need to (re)think about our relationship with nature through its new creative partnership with Fernando Laposse. The Mexican artist and designer shares the Maison's vision of a world in which all species, including mankind, have equal importance. From the collaboration between all these life forms, potential solutions to the environmental problems facing our societies can emerge, with the prospect of a brighter future.

A Champagne that combines freshness and intensity. A refined delicacy in the typical floral style; unique, intense and refined from the Maison Perrier-Jouët. In keeping with the Maison's tradition, the artisan is seen as the creator. The account of the vintage already hints at the creation of an excellent Champagne in an exceptional vintage. The bottle is to be considered unique and was designed in 1902 by Emile Gallé, one of the most famous representatives of Art Nouveau. The Champagne Belle Èpoque is made from 50% Chardonnay grapes from the Côte des Blancs area, 45% Pinot Noir, which give this exceptional product softness, and 5% Meunier, which gives it roundness and balance.

The vintage 2015 was characterised by a mild winter, followed by a dry spell in mid-May. This led to an early flowering. July was remarkably dry and hot, but in mid-August everything changed: the rains accelerated the ripening of the grapes, leading to optimal conditions for the September harvest.

The Champagne Belle Époque 2015 by Maison Perrier-Jouët presents itself to the eye with a pale gold colour, clear and bright, like the rising sun. On the nose, it reveals delicate aromas of fruit (white peach and pink grapefruit) and white flowers. On the palate it is surprisingly balanced, delicate and fruity. A rare and harmonious Champagne combining freshness, acidity and balance.

The story began in 1811, when Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Adèle Jouët got married, opening the way for the Maison Perrier-Jouët. Guided by precision and rigor, the Perrier-Jouët was a pioneer in the field of traceability and counterfighting fight. It became the first Maisons de Champagne putting the year of vintage on the label of its bottles. If harvest is not as good as the maison requires - as it has happened - the production of the vintage champagne is not authorised: quality is always a top priority and there is no room for compromises. The Maison de Champagne Perrier-Jouët produced flowery and elegant wines of high fineness, strongly characterised by the Chardonnay presence. Elegant Cuvées, tuning with the refined Liberty-style flowers on the Belle Epoque bottle, offer intense relaxing moments of delight and beauty.
