Rosé Les Perles du Paradis

The Champagne Les Perles du Paradis by R. Faivre is a Rosé that tells with lively intensity of the Vallée de la Marne, where the Domaine cultivates its vines exclusively on parcels of the Belval-sous-Châtillon terroir. From these clay-limestone soils, marked by the presence of green clay, comes a wine of great fruity generosity, where the richness of Meunier converses with the freshness of the other Champagne varieties. Thus is born a Rosé of strong territorial identity, able to combine momentum, colour and depth in an authentic expression full of character, the result of a low-intervention viticulture respectful of living things.

This edition, based on the 2022 harvest enriched with 40% vin de réserve from the 2020, 2019 and 2018 vintages, features a blend of 41% Meunier grapes, 39% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir, with 11% Coteaux de Meunier defining its colour. Vinification takes place in enamelled tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation. After bottling comes an ageing on the lees for a minimum of 18 months, while the final dosage of 1 g/l, in an Extra Brut style, enhances its purity and precision without weighing down the wine's profile.

On tasting, Les Perles du Paradis stands out for an extraordinary expressive power, with an intensely fruity bouquet where tones of red fruits blend with a vigorous and vibrant minerality. On the palate the attack is decisive and juicy, supported by a taut acidity that lends momentum and definition, in a texture both fleshy and slender. The balance between fruit and saline tension delivers a long and dynamic persistence, where the clean, savoury finish signs off a wine of great expressive coherence and strong territorial identity.
