Reflet Millésime 2018
The Champagne Reflet by Delavenne is born in the Grand Cru vineyards of Bouzy, in the Montagne de Reims, where the family cultivates its parcels with a sustainable and responsible approach. The chalky soils and favorable exposure help shape the identity of this cuvée, an authentic expression of its terroir. Vineyard management follows the principles of integrated viticulture, with mechanical soil work, natural fertilizers, and no use of herbicides, safeguarding environmental balance and biodiversity.
This edition, Millésime 2018, is crafted from a blend of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir sourced from the finest parcels of the harvest. Vinification takes place in stainless steel with spontaneous fermentation from indigenous yeasts; malolactic fermentation is not carried out, and the wine undergoes neither filtration nor fining. After tirage, it ages on its lees for over five years, while the final dosage is set at 6 g/l, within the Brut range, preserving balance and precision.
On the nose, Reflet 2018 reveals delicate aromas of fresh citrus and white flowers, supported by a fine and precise texture. On the palate, it stands out for its tension and linearity, with an elegant structure sustained by vibrant freshness. The finish is long and clean, harmonious in highlighting the interplay between the finesse of Chardonnay and the depth of Pinot Noir.
