The Coteaux Champenois Fun n’ Rosé 2023 by Martín Léclapart is a still rosé wine made from 100% Pinot Noir, sourced from the 2023 vintage, a year marked by optimal climatic conditions that ensured a balanced ripening of the grapes. It marks Martín’s winemaking debut as the son of the renowned vigneron David Léclapart, and stands as a clear statement of intent: combining technical precision, environmental sensitivity, and a personal, contemporary vision of the Champenois terroir.

The result of meticulous winemaking, Fun n’ Rosé is crafted through a 7-day carbonic maceration, followed by 11 months of ageing in new 228-litre barriques to develop complexity and structure. The use of indigenous yeasts and the absence of invasive interventions reflect Martín’s full commitment to the principles of biodynamic farming, practised with consistency and dedication. Like his father, Martín builds his philosophy on four fundamental pillars: Purity, Energy, Pleasure, and Ecology.

On the palate, Fun n’ Rosé 2023 shows a bright pale pink colour and offers a bouquet of strawberry and raspberry, lifted by delicate floral notes. The taste is fresh and vibrant, with pleasant acidity, an elegant body, and fruit-driven echoes merging with fine minerality, leading to a clean, persistent finish.
