Alizée et Thibault Tassin

There’s a new wind blowing through Champagne, carrying with it the names Alizée et Thibault Tassin. Young, determined, and visionary, they embody a generation of independent vignerons who choose to break away from family traditions to write their own story. Thibault, heir to the historic Tassin Successeurs family of the Côte des Bar, decided to forge his own path, driven by the desire to interpret Champagne in a more authentic, agricultural, and deeply terroir-driven way.

In 2019, together with his wife Alizée, he obtained just over one hectare of vineyard in Celles-sur-Ource, in the heart of the Côte des Bar. Here an intimate and courageous project was born: the couple restored an old farmhouse in Landreville, transforming it into their own artisan winery. From the very beginning, their philosophy has been clear — to work in harmony with the terroir, following the principles of organic viticulture: spontaneous plant cover, native flora between the rows, gentle pruning, and organic fertilizers to regenerate the soil.

Since 2021, the estate has been in organic conversion, with the first certified cuvée expected from the 2023 harvest. In the cellar, every gesture reflects the same consistency: spontaneous fermentations, indigenous yeasts, aging in Burgundy barrels, and minimal dosage to enhance the wine’s purity. Each bottle is a story of sincerity, a dialogue between vineyard and taster. Today, Alizée et Thibault Tassin stand among the most promising voices of the Côte des Bar, capable of blending Burgundian sensitivity with Champenois spirit in a Champagne that feels alive, natural, and contemporary.
