Champagne Laurent-Perrier
Cuvée Rosé
The Champagne Cuvée Rosé by Laurent-Perrier was born in 1968 from the boldness and savoir-faire of the Maison, establishing itself over the years as an absolute benchmark of the category for consistency and quality. Its identity comes from the Montagne de Reims, where ten different Crus, including the famous Côte de Bouzy, yield a Pinot Noir of rare expressiveness. It is one of the most brilliant examples of Champagne Rosé de Saignée, the result of a maceration that enhances colour and aromatic richness, while the bottle, inspired by the squat shapes of the era of Henri IV, tells on its own the singularity of this creation.
This Rosé expresses a vinification entirely devoted to Pinot Noir, harvested from carefully selected plots in the finest Grand Cru villages, including Ambonnay, Bouzy, Louvois and Tours-sur-Marne. The maceration, which lasts from 48 to 72 hours depending on the harvest, encourages the extraction of colour and the development of the grape's full aromatic richness. It is a rosé built on the purity of a single variety, where every stage is calibrated to preserve its freshness and elegance, the unmistakable signature of the house style.
On the palate, it appears with a colour that varies naturally from a lovely raspberry shade to salmon pink, a sign of its authenticity. On the nose it reveals itself as precise and of extraordinary freshness, with a wide range of red fruits ranging from raspberry to redcurrant, from strawberry to morello cherry. On the palate the attack is fresh and decisive, while the soft, round structure governs the balance of the sip, and the persistence unfolds generously, offering the sensation of plunging into a basket of freshly picked red fruits.
