The two brothers, Michel and Christian, were the main protagonists of Champagne Gosset-Brabant. Yet, in 2015, they separated and at the age of 50, Christian Gosset decided to change his life by creating his own brand, Champagne Christian Gosset. It was a successful mid-life crisis since Christian realised his "dream": to produce his own wines and sublimate the terroir of Aÿ.

From his 5 hectares vineyards (certified HVE - High Environmental Value) in the villages of Avenay-Val d'Or, Chouilly, Dizy, Mareuil-sur-Aÿ and Aÿ, he created his own range of Champagne bearing his name: Champagne Christian Gosset. His first harvest took place in 2016 and his wines are still hosted in the cellar of his friend and colleague, the oenologist Jean-Baptiste Geoffroy.

At the beginning of 2020 his first vintages turned ready - two blends from Grand Cru vineyards (Brut and Rosé) and then the single vineyard Champagnes - Lieu Dit - which he had long dreamed of. They are four expressive and intense parcel Champagnes. Christian naturally tells the story of the great terroirs of Pinot Noir d'Aÿ, cradle of the GOSSET family for over 500 years. Classified as Grand Cru, it is enhanced by this man who calls himself a young vigneron and yet is supported by thirty-five years of experience!

Shortly after the 2018 harvest, he moved and settled in rue Jeanson in Aÿ just opposite his friend Jean-Baptiste Geoffroy. Verticality, precision, aroma and power are the main characteristics of Christian Gosset Champagnes.
