Maison Raday

The history of Maison Raday began in 2018 when Valentin Tribaut left the family Domaine (Champagne Tribaut Schloesser) to dedicate himself to his wine production project. We are in Romery, in the Vallée de la Marne and the name Raday is a tribute to the river that crosses the villages of Romery, Cormoyeux and Fleury la Rivière where the family Domaine originates. Valentin is a young Vigneron "off the web": no website, no Instagram or other social medias, and his company is difficult to be found as it doesn’t appear on any map. 
Discipline, commitment, focus, his goal is to devote himself completely to his vineyards and wines. The "challenging" is to cooperate every year with talented and virtuous Vignerons in line with his philosophy by buying from them small quantities of their grapes which he elaborates according to his personal vision of the terroir, strengthened by a long family tradition. 
Although ambitious, his project was welcomed positively by the new partners thanks to his respectful and aware approach that relies on the key principles of biodynamic and natural viticulture: indigenous yeasts, minimum dosages of sulfur dioxide, total vinification in Burgundy barriques, long and absolute discipline in all stages of processing with the least possible intervention with the addition of minimal dosages. 
His first collaboration took place in 2018 with his cousin Aurelien Lurquin, a well-known name in the Champenois panorama above all for having applied the biodynamic philosophy in vineyard management since 2012. In 2019, Valentin then chose the grapes of Regis Poissinet, a biodynamic winemaker of Cuchery of which he has great esteem for his work in the vineyard. With his Champagnes Maison Raday, Valentin wants to transcribe the uniqueness of each terroir and highlight the precious work of the winemakers (in fact, each label bears their name). He is definitely a Vigneron to follow, his future is promising.
