Jean-Claude Mouzon chose to represent its domain in a dualistic way. It is located in Verzenay, in Montagne de Reims, one of the 17 villages classified as Champagne Grand Cru. The domaine has two souls: Frédèrique, the founders daughter, and her husband Cédric Lahémade, with agricultural background as well.
The dualism is also represented by the variety of this terroir: Pinot Noir on one side and Chardonnay on the other. Frédérique and Cédric are extremely sensitive towards the territory and the resources it can offer. They also welcome a sustainable approach, certified by the Ministry of Agricultural Policies with the HVE logs (High Environmental Value). The property is organised in 43 parcels, spread in the villages of Verzenay, Verzy, Beaumont-sur- Vesle and Mailly.
The cave is organised in order to ensure a separated vinification for each parcel, variety and year of vintage. The vinification follows a parallel natural development of the available resources, based on what has been looked after and produced in the year. All fermentations are obtained through natural yeasts so as to respect the terroir and the tradition.
