Pascal Agrapart

Founded in 1894 by Arthur Agrapart in Avize, at the heart of the Côte des Blancs, Domaine Agrapart & Fils has embodied the essence of artisanal Champagne for over a century. Four generations have carried forward a legacy built on tradition, precision, and respect for the terroir. In the 1980s, brothers Fabrice and Pascal Agrapart brought the estate to international prominence; today, though following separate paths, they pursue two complementary interpretations of the same heritage, both faithful to the family philosophy of authenticity and devotion to the vineyard.

Today Pascal Agrapart, together with his son Ambroise, oversees a 6-hectare Domaine located in the Grand Cru villages of Avize, Cramant, Oger, and Oiry, cradle of Chardonnay in the Côte des Blancs. The vines, averaging 35–50 years of age, are rooted in chalky and calcareous soils that lend a marked mineral signature to the wines. The approach is artisanal and organically inspired, with soil cultivation, natural composts, horse plowing, and a total absence of synthetic products. Convinced that the health of the vines is the key to quality, Pascal personally tends the vineyard to preserve the natural balance reflected in each wine’s expression.

In the cellar, spontaneous fermentations and aging in oak demi-muids bring complexity and harmony while preserving varietal freshness. With no filtration or fining, each cuvée rests on its fine lees until reaching perfect balance, with minimal dosage. The Pascal Agrapart style, rooted in parcel-based vinification, seeks transparency of terroir, energy, and finesse over power. Today Ambroise Agrapart, fifth generation, continues the family tradition with rigor and sensitivity, offering a renewed vision of the purest expression of Avize and the Côte des Blancs.
