The Champagne Pluie d’Euphories by Jean-Marie Massonnot carries in its very name the promise of a joyful, luminous experience, dedicated to a grape variety often seen as a supporting player and here instead the undisputed protagonist. This Blanc de Noirs is made solely from Meunier grapes from vineyards classified Premier Cru, a true Blanc de Meunier that sincerely highlights the natural expression of the variety and of the terroir it comes from.

This edition, based on the 2018 harvest, draws on carefully selected grapes from a generous and sunny year. Vinification and fermentation take place in stainless steel tanks, a choice designed to preserve the freshness and aromatic integrity of the fruit. After tirage, the wine ages on the lees for at least 6 years, gaining complexity and depth while retaining remarkable purity of expression. The final dosage of 3 g/l, in Extra Brut style, underlines the authentic and refined character of the cuvée.

On tasting, Pluie d’Euphories opens with small yellow fruits that immediately confirm the identity of Meunier, followed by notes of quince paste and fruit kernel that bring surprising ripeness, enhanced by a delicate hint of grenadine. On the palate it is round, fruity and subtle, with aromas of almond and fruit kernel in perfect harmony with the bouquet, in a balance that consistently reflects the continuity between terroir and variety. The finish is clean and elegant, with a sincere, transparent persistence that extends the pleasure of the tasting.
