Fun n' Rosé 2023
The Coteaux Champenois Fun n' RosĂ© by MartĂn LĂ©clapart marks the winemaking debut of the son of the renowned vigneron David LĂ©clapart and stands as a clear statement of intent that combines technical rigour, environmental awareness and a personal, contemporary vision of the Champagne terroir. Like his father, MartĂn builds his philosophy on four pillars, Purity, Energy, Pleasure and Ecology, interpreted with a young and free spirit in a still rosĂ© of great spontaneity.
This edition, from the 2023 harvest, the result of a season with ideal weather conditions that favoured balanced ripening, is made exclusively from biodynamically farmed Pinot Noir grapes. Vinification and maturation involve a 7-day carbonic maceration with indigenous yeasts and no invasive intervention, followed by 11 months of ageing in new 228-litre barriques that give the wine greater complexity and structure without masking the fruit.
On tasting, Fun n' Rosé shows a pale, brilliant pink with luminous reflections, opening with a bouquet of strawberry and raspberry enriched by delicate floral notes that bring freshness and lightness. On the palate it is fresh and vibrant, with pleasant acidity and a slender, elegant body in which fruity returns intertwine with fine minerality, leading to a clean, juicy and persistent finish that underlines its balance, precision and great drinkability.
