Champagne Brut Nature
Héritage Assemblage (Nature)

The Champagne Héritage Assemblage by André Heucq authentically conveys the character of the Vallée de la Marne, bringing together the three great grape varieties of the appellation and the sensitivity of a family Domaine that has tended its own vines in Cuisles for generations with a careful, environmentally respectful approach. Part of the Héritage collection, this cuvée takes shape from a selection of grapes sourced from the villages of Cuisles, Châtillon-sur-Marne, Serzy and Mareuil-le-Port, where clay and marl soils give rise to generous and genuine wines, faithful to a terroir of remarkable personality.

This edition, crafted in a Brut Nature style, shows a slight predominance of Chardonnay grapes at 40%, alongside 30% Pinot Noir and 30% Meunier, in an assemblage designed to express balance and complexity. Vinification and fermentation take place 70% in stainless steel and the remaining 30% in fût de chêne, a choice that adds depth and measured nuances without masking the purity of the fruit. After tirage, the wine ages on the lees for at least 48 months, refining its texture and deepening its aromas, while the absence of a final dosage allows the terroir to express itself in a direct and transparent way.

On tasting, Héritage Assemblage shows a fairly deep golden colour, enlivened by a fine and lively perlage. The nose opens with notes of candied fruit, apple and bread, then evolves towards hints of white pepper, harmoniously combining freshness with the more complex aromas born from long ageing in the cellar. On the palate the attack is fresh and voluminous, supported by a fine acidity that balances the structure and carries through to a long and persistent finish.
