Champagne Brut Nature
Héritage Blanc de Meunier

The Champagne Blanc de Meunier by André Heucq pays tribute to the most representative grape variety of the Vallée de la Marne, showcased by the Domaine within the Héritage collection through a rich, dynamic interpretation that stays true to its origins. The cuvée takes shape from a selection of grapes from the villages of Cuisles, Châtillon-sur-Marne, Serzy and Mareuil-le-Port, a mosaic of vines that naturally conveys the generosity and authentic character of this corner of Champagne.

This edition, a Blanc de Noirs made exclusively from Meunier grapes, precisely expresses the fruity and generous personality of the variety. Vinification and fermentation take place in stainless steel, a choice that preserves the freshness and aromatic clarity of the fruit. After tirage, the wine rests on the lees for at least 48 months, gaining breadth and complexity, while the absence of final dosage, in Brut Nature style, allows the grape variety and the terroir to express themselves directly.

On tasting, Héritage Blanc de Meunier shows a generous nose that is classic for the variety, with notes of reinette apple and cooked fruit over a delicate background of jasmine, in a very expressive and well-developed profile. On the palate it proves round and vinous, almost enveloping, with a well-integrated freshness that supports the overall volume. The finish is fairly long and soft, marked by a frank and refreshing bitter note that recalls its terroir of origin, confirming a balanced and seductive Champagne that firmly asserts the identity of its grape variety and its terroir.
