Pinot-Chevauchet

Champagne Pinot-Chevauchet is a family-run estate led by Didier and Brigitte Chevauchet, landowners for four generations in the village of Moussy, in the Côteaux Sud d’Épernay. Production, around 30,000 bottles, comes exclusively from estate-grown grapes sourced from 4 hectares divided into 27 parcels between Moussy and Pierry, both Premier Cru villages located between the Côte des Blancs and the Vallée de la Marne. The clay-limestone soils, rich in refractory stones, give the wines a pronounced mineral character and a strong sense of place.

The production philosophy combines a strong commitment to quality with environmental respect: the cuvées are aged for at least 5 years on the lees and use minimal sulphur, only what is strictly necessary. In the vineyards, sustainable practices have been followed for over twenty years, with no herbicides or synthetic chemicals and natural grass cover between the rows, an approach that has earned HVE and Viticulture Durable en Champagne certifications. The result is artisanal, characterful Champagnes that precisely express the identity of each parcel and grape variety, particularly Chardonnay.
