Vazart-Coquart

Champagne Vazart-Coquart was founded in 1957 by Louis and Marie Vazart-Coquart in Chouilly, a village classified as 100% Grand Cru in the renowned Côte des Blancs. Since 1995, the estate has been led by Jean-Pierre Vazart, the third generation of the family, who continues to carry the brand forward with passion, strengthening its style and reputation through authentic Champagnes deeply rooted in their terroir of origin.

The vineyard covers around 11 hectares, entirely located in Chouilly. Production is dominated by Chardonnay (95%), the emblematic grape variety of the Côte des Blancs, complemented by a small share of Pinot Noir (5%). The vines have an average age of over 30 years, a key factor in obtaining grapes of the highest quality, essential to expressing complexity, balance, and finesse in all the Maison’s cuvées, true reflections of their terroir identity.

In 2012, Vazart-Coquart was among the first estates in France to obtain the Haute Valeur Environnementale certification, an official recognition by the Ministry of Agriculture for practices respectful of biodiversity and the environment. Annual production amounts to around 80,000 bottles, Champagnes that stand out for their elegancemineral freshness, and creaminess, an authentic expression of the prestigious village of Chouilly.
