Vazart-Coquart

The Maison Vazart-Coquart was founded in 1957 by Louis and Marie Vazart-Coquart. Since 1995, Jean-Pierre VAZART is running the third generation of producers and still produces wines under the brand founded in Chouilly, classified as 100% Grand Cru in the renowed Côte des Blancs. Over a surface of 11 hectares, located exclusively in Chouilly, the Domaine grows 95% Chardonnay and 5% Pinot Noir.

The vineyards are 30 years old on average and the result is good quality grapes, vital for all their Cuvées. In 2012 the Maison Vazart-Coquart was among the first wine companies in France to get the "High Environmental Value Vineyard" certification. This award was created by the Ministery of the Agriculture to identify the companies aiming at reducing their impact on the environment, improving biodiversity.

Vazart-Coquart produces elegant Champagnes, fresh and creamy, that offer a good interpretation of their terroir. Annual production of around 80.000 bottles.
