The Taittinger vineyards cover 288 hectares, making the Maison one of the largest landowners in Champagne. The estate includes 37 prestigious Crus, with a breakdown of 37% Chardonnay, 48% Pinot Noir, and 15% Meunier. Chardonnay, the cornerstone of the Taittinger style, grows in the Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs (Cramant, Avize, Chouilly, Oger, and Mesnil-sur-Oger), while Pinot Noir comes from the most renowned areas of the Montagne de Reimsand Côte des Bar. The more resilient Meunier is mostly grown in the Vallée de la Marne, on clay and sandy soils.
