The Champagne Dorien N°45 by Stéphane Regnault is a Blanc de Blancs, from 100% Chardonnay grapes harvested in the lieu-dit Hautes-Mottes, a small plot of vineyard planted in 1950 and 1980, on a chalky soil, located near the village of Le Mesnil, classified as 100% Grand Cru in the Côte des Blancs. This Champagne, 2016 base vintage, has initially aged for its 2/3 in steel vats and for 1/3 in second-hand wooden barrels, and then has rested for 3 years in the bottle on its own yeasts. Its final dosage is of only 1 g/l - making it an Extra Brut. Rich and structured Champagne with an excellent saline depth. Limited edition product of only 2,400 bottles.

In 2007 Stéphane Regnault, after various professional experiences between London and Paris, returned to the Côte des Blancs to manage the family estate. After about 10 years of experience, reflection and testing - in 2018 - his first Cuvée was released, as a result of the harvest of the family vineyards located in Oger and Le Mesnil. Currently the Domaine has about 4 hectares of old vineyards between 40 and 60 years of age divided equally between Oger and Le Mesnil, renowned villages classified as Grand Cru in the area of the Côte des Blancs, where Stéphane selected and identified 3 different lieux-dits to make its multi-vintage Cuvées from a single vineyard.

Stéphane, like other young and talented producers, decided to stop using herbicides and gradually convert to organic farming. A great Jazz saxophonist, Stéphane has dedicated the name of different musical modalities to each Cuvée, which reminds him of. The Champagnes produced, about 8,000 bottles per year, are intense and precise and represent very well the new generations of Vigneron that embrace the tradition but add experimenting and new techniques to it.
