The Domaine is now led by Nathalie and her son Antoine, heirs of René Coutier. Their winemaking philosophy follows the principle of “as little as possible,” with minimal intervention in both vineyard and cellar to preserve the essence of the terroir. In conversion to organic farming since 2020, R.H. Coutier employs respectful vinification, careful use of malolactic fermentation, and extended lees aging, resulting in balanced, vinous, and complex Champagnes.
