Champagne Piper-Heidsieck / Rare

The Maison Piper-Heidsieck, founded in 1785 by Monsieur Florens-Louis Heidsieck in Reims, is today one of the most important in the world. In 2011, together with the Maison Charles Heidsieck,  it became part of EPI (Européenne de Participation Industrielle), a 100% family-owned company focused on the development of premium brands with an emphasis on French "savoir-faire". Since its creation, RARE CHAMPAGNE has always been the Maison's Cuvée de Prestige, but very different from the Piper-Heidsieck style, hence the idea that it should be seen as a separate entity and brand in its own right: RARE CHAMPAGNE. It is to Régis Camus - one of the world's best known chefs de cave - that they owe the vision and expertise of creating the RARE CHAMPAGNE vintage wines: for over forty years just eleven vintages with unique character and infinite longevity have been released: 1976, 1979, 1985, 1988, 1990, 1998, 1999, 2002, 2006 and Rare Rosé Millésime 2007 and 2008. A distinct image - with a slightly gold-embossed bottle - and infinite freshness reveal the radiant purity for RARE CHAMPAGNE.
