Champagne Perrier-Jouët
Belle Èpoque Rosé By Vik Muniz 2005

The Champagne Rosé Belle Epoque 2005 By Vik Muniz by Perrier-Jouët is a Limited Edition designed by Vik Muniz, an internationally acclaimed Brazilian visual artist. Vik Muniz thought of the magical encounter between a hummingbird with radiant golden reflections and the unmistakable anemone symbol of Perrier-Jouët, which has been decorating every bottle of Belle Époque for over a century. When the lively bird admires the natural elegance of the flower, the white petals are tinged with a delicate pink colour.

Perrier-Jouët Cuvée Belle Epoque Rosé 2005, "the most extravagant and sensual wine in the Belle Epoque collection", is therefore enclosed in a bottle that is a true work of art: a tribute both to Belle Epoque's lovers and to those who discover it for the first time. Originally created with gold fragments, this enchanted scene was photographed and applied by the artist on the Belle Époque bottle through a gold plate on which the hummingbird seems to fly towards the anemones in the foreground. Thanks to the transparent glass bottle, the salmon colour of the Champagne enhances the sensual and delicate work of Vik Muniz.

Champagne with extraordinary olfactory-degusting notes. Art over art. The Limited Edition is a squared work of art to be preserved and, why not, reinvented to a new function: a special monoflower vase, the base of an enchanting lamp, an exceptional candle holder.

Perrier-Jouët Hervé Deschamps' Chef de Cave has chosen the 2005 vintage of the Belle Époque Rosé for this limited edition Cuvée. Described as "the most extravagant wine in the Belle Epoque collection", this Vintage is a generous and sensual Champagne Rosé whose complexity denotes a vintage of contrasts. Chardonnay grapes are predominant in the blend while Cuvée gains richness, purity and the characteristic salmon colour thanks to the variety of Pinot Noir. After nine years of aging in the cellars of the Maison, the result is a perfect balance between the character of the vintage and the elegant and floral style of Perrier-Jouët.

A Champagne that combines freshness and intensity. A refined delicacy in the typical floral style; unique, intense and refined by the Maison Perrier-Jouët. In the respect of the tradition of the Maison, the craftsman is seen as a creator. The Champagne Belle Epoque Rosé has a bright pink colour with shades of orange. The very fine, sober and subtle decoration of the bottle reveals the delicate and pleasant colour of the Champagne, made with a method that has been handed down for over 100 years.

Champagne Perrier-Jouët

The story began in 1811, when Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Adèle Jouët got married, opening the way for the Maison Perrier-Jouët. Guided by precision and rigor, the Perrier-Jouët was a pioneer in the field of traceability and counterfighting fight. It became the first Maisons de Champagne putting the year of vintage on the label of its bottles. If harvest is not as good as the maison requires - as it has happened - the production of the vintage champagne is not authorised: quality is always a top priority and there is no room for compromises. The Maison de Champagne Perrier-Jouët produced flowery and elegant wines of high fineness, strongly characterised by the Chardonnay presence. Elegant Cuvées, tuning with the refined Liberty-style flowers on the Belle Epoque bottle, offer intense relaxing moments of delight and beauty.
