By Bio we mean the cultivation of vines, according to organic or biodynamic viticulture, that is viticultural practices chosen by the Maison or by Vigneron. Therefore, organic farming must act through agronomic practices, the careful selection of vines, clones, rootstocks, the form of farming and planting arrangements to obtain a vineyard as balanced as possible in a vegetative-productive way, to act as a stimulus on plant defenses and to reduce susceptibility to disease.
