The collection Réflexions R Champagne is reinterpreted year after year to reflect the unique character of each vintage. Each edition expresses the soul of the Lallier style: a perfect balance of freshness, purity, depth and intensity.

The Champagne R.019 by Lallier is a blend of 45% Chardonnay and 55% Pinot Noir from grapes harvested mainly in the villages of Avize, Cramant, Oger, Aÿ, Verzenay, Bouzy and Ambonnay. For this edition, 88% of the grapes come from the 2019 harvest with the remaining 12% blended from vin de réserve from the 2018 and 2012 vintages, each dominated by intense and fruity flavours respectively.

The Champagne R.019 by Lallier has a light golden colour with jade reflections. To the nose it is dominated by fresh citrus fruits (lemon and mandarin) supported by notes of white fruits (Valeria peach, green apple). A touch of brioche and light spice complete the aromatic intensity. On the palate it shows frank intensity in the attack, delicate fruitiness and silky texture. The finish is long and deep with a fine aromatic persistence.

Champagne Lallier

Maison Lallier was founded in Aÿ in 1906 thanks to the intuition of René Lallier. Already in 1936, Aÿ was one of the seventeen villages classified as "Grand Cru" in Champagne, a clear indication of the quality of the grapes growing on these famous hills. In 1996, René-James Lallier, the grandson of the founder, took the Maison in a new direction by carrying out important works of modernization of production facilities as well as renewing the cellars.

René-James, in his search for absolute quality, was helped by Francis Tribaut, who at the time worked as a consultant for some of the most prestigious names in the Champagne region. In 2004, as a result of their strong relationship of trust, when René-James Lallier decided to sell the Maison, he asked Francis Tribault if he was interested in buying it: he accepted, strongly convinced of the potential of the Maison. The years that followed showed the right direction and confirmed the reputation of excellence that Lallier Champagnes enjoy, year after year.
