J. Charpentier

Since 1874, J. Charpentier has been telling a story of family passion passed down through five generations. It all began with Léonidas Charpentier and Henri Claisse, pioneers in viticulture. In 1974, Jacky Charpentier and Claudine Claisse combined their expertise to create the J. Charpentier brand in Villers-sous-Châtillon. 

Through dedication, innovation, and respect for nature, the Domaine has grown, developing sustainable winemaking methods and a strong connection to the land. Today, guided by a philosophy focused on quality and environmental care, J. Charpentier produces exceptional HVE-certified Champagne, a true expression of the Vallée de la Marne and the Montagne de Reims.
