Michel Fallon

Michel Fallon is among the most discreet producers in Champagne, with an extremely limited production that is also one of the hardest to find. For over thirty years, he has worked closely with Anselme Selosse, following every stage of the process from vineyard to cellar and developing deep expertise; at the same time, he has managed his wife Brigitte’s family vineyards in Avize with a rigorous and personal approach. After years of supplying grapes to the cooperative, he was given the opportunity to vinify a few parcels himself: this marked the birth of Champagne Michel Fallon, an independent expression of experience, precision, and artisanal sensitivity.

His philosophy combines permaculture with organic and biodynamic practices, guided by a careful, artisanal approach. In the cellar, fermentations occur spontaneously in wood, without additives and with minimal intervention, followed by long ageing on the lees. For the secondary fermentation, he uses MCR made from his own frozen must, while every stage, from vinification to dégorgement, is carried out with meticulous precision. A rare production that speaks to the most curious enthusiasts, offering an authentic and deeply distinctive experience.
