La RĂ©serve Magnum
The Champagne La Réserve is the timeless emblem of Maison Palmer, an expression of impeccable precision, harmoniously balanced between lively freshness and the fullness of the great terroirs of the Montagne de Reims. In this Magnum edition, the blend is composed of 57% Chardonnay, 22% Pinot Noir and 21% Meunier, proportions that reflect the Maison’s art of balance.
A significant share of reserve wines (41%) brings rare maturity and enveloping richness, following the philosophy of the Réserve Perpétuelle, in which the reserve wines come from previous blends of the same cuvée. This approach ensures a distinctive character and a continuity of taste that fully express the Maison’s refined and consistent style. Ageing on the lees lasts for at least 5 years, with a final dosage of 6 g/l Brut.
On the palate, La RĂ©serve reveals a harmonious bouquet of citrus, pear and apricot, enriched with delicate notes of hazelnut and buttery brioche. The palate is at once succulent and full-bodied, sustained by a free-flowing freshness and a balance that make it a model of elegance.
