Champagne Marie-Noelle Ledru
Millésime Magnum 2008
The Champagne Millésime by Marie-Noëlle Ledru originates in the Grand Cru village of Ambonnay, in the Montagne de Reims, and represents one of the most complete and profound expressions of this terroir. Here, Pinot Noir, with a clear majority (85%), supported by a component of Chardonnay, gives life to a cuvée that combines structure, intensity, and finesse, faithfully reflecting the character of the vintage and the vigneronne’s rigorous vision.
This magnum edition, Vintage 2008, develops through vinification and fermentation focused on maximum expressive precision, followed by extended lees ageing which, in this format, evolves more slowly and harmoniously, enhancing complexity and depth while maintaining balance and tension. The final dosage, in Brut style, supports the wine with restraint, highlighting its harmony and definition.
On the palate, stands out for its intense and layered profile, with notes of ripe red fruits, citrus, and subtle mineral and lightly toasted nuances. The structure is broad and enveloping, supported by vibrant freshness that leads to a long, elegant, and persistent finish, expressing a Champagne of great power and longevity, further enhanced by the magnum format.
