Champagne Coustheur-Bonnard
3 Cep'ages
The Champagne 3 Cep'ages by Coustheur-Bonnard is a cuvée d'assemblage representing a harmonious expression of the three traditional Champagne grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier. The grapes come from vineyards located in Nogent l'Abbesse, at the foot of Mont de Berru, a chalky terroir that gives the wine finesse, complexity and a unique character.
The Champagne 3 Cep'Âges has a brilliant golden yellow colour, enhanced by a fine and persistent perlage that enhances its elegance. On the nose, it offers a refined bouquet, with aromas of white flowers and fresh citrus fruits, accompanied by warmer notes of toasted brioche and ripe yellow fruits, evolving into more complex and sophisticated nuances. On the palate, this champagne is fresh and lively, with a marked minerality that recalls the chalky nature of its soil of origin. Flavours of citrus, freshly baked bread and a delicate hint of butteriness offer a fine, balanced and extremely pleasant taste experience. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a fresh sensation that invites another sip.

Champagne Coustheur-Bonnard
Winemakers since 1730, the Coustheur-Bonnard family has shaped the history and culture of the land of the village of Nogent l'Abbesse, in the Montagne de Reims. Founded in 1960 right in Nogent l'Abbesse, at the foot of the Monts de Berru, Domaine Coustheur-Bonnard has spanned four generations, with winemaking techniques and knowledge passed down in the family over the years. Since 2012, Adrien Coustheur has been in charge of the management of the Domaine, while the winemaking process is entrusted to the wine cooperative of Nogent l'Abbasse.
The Domaine's vineyard is distributed between the Crus of Nogent l'Abbasse, Berru and Hermonville, and covers an area of three hectares, cultivated with the three typical vines of the Region, with a predilection for Chardonnay (about 85%). The limestone subsoil of Nogent l'Abbesse is in fact favorable for the cultivation of Chardonnay; furthermore, the exposure of the hills allows excellent sunshine for the vineyards, contributing to the maturity and optimal quality of the grapes.
The Domaine is actively engaged in an approach to sustainable viticulture (VDC certification - Viticulture Durable en Champagne), which includes practices such as grassing of the vineyards, providing the vines with only what they needs for healthy development. The aim is to allow the grapes to best express the characteristics of the micro-terroir of the Monts de Berru.
