La Collection Crayères Blanc des Millénaires 1996 represents one of the most precious and emblematic expressions of Charles Heidsieck, a rare and monumental vintage Champagne, symbolizing the patience and highest Champenois savoir-faire. The 1996 vintage, regarded as one of the greatest of the century, benefited from nearly ideal climatic conditions: a balanced, sunny, and breezy summer that ensured full ripeness, vibrant acidity, and remarkable aromatic concentration. It remains unanimously celebrated as one of the defining benchmarks of modern Champagne.

Crafted entirely from 100% Chardonnay, this Blanc de Blancs is born from an assemblage of the purest and most mineral terroirs of the Côte des Blancs. Only five villages compose this cuvée: Vertus (Premier Cru), and the Grands Crus of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize, and Cramant. These parcels, chosen for their ability to evolve gracefully and reveal exceptional aromatic richness, define the wine’s balance and depth.
