Jean Vesselle

Rooted in Bouzy, a Grand Cru village of the Montagne de Reims, Jean Vesselle stands as one of the most authentic historic estates of Champagne. The family has cultivated vines for over three centuries, and today the tradition is carried on by Delphine and David Vesselle, committed to preserving the identity of Bouzy Pinot Noir, complemented by small parcels of Chardonnay. The vineyard covers about 15 hectares, spread across Bouzy, Chouilly and Loches-sur-Ource, with a clear predominance of Pinot Noir (90%) and a share of Chardonnay (10%).

The estate’s philosophy is based on sustainable viticulture practices, with a focus on soil preservation, grass cover and a thoughtful approach aimed at enhancing the freshness and aromatic complexity of the grapes, while maintaining a strong bond with the land. In the cellar, Jean Vesselle ensures full qualitative control over each cuvée: the Maison’s style is defined by a perfect balance of power and elegance, faithfully reflecting the mineral and fruity soul of the Bouzy terroir.
