Odile Thieullet

Odile Thieullet is the daughter, granddaughter and great-granddaughter of vignerons from Cuisles, a small village located in the Vallée de la Marne, known for its soils rich in green clay and the predominance of Meunier. A vigneron since 2018, she started producing her Champagnes in 2021, giving life to a personal project rooted in family tradition but enriched by an innovative approach.

Despite a career path that was initially far removed from the world of wine, passion guided her through various experiences, including several vintages with her brother and five years working in the Mouzon-Leroy winery in Verzy. Here she developed a deep interest in ageing in wood, an element that has become central to her production philosophy.

Her plots are located in the villages of Cuisles, Jonquery and Châtillon-sur-Marne, three neighbouring villages that share the characteristic terroir of the Vallée de la Marne, where Meunier finds its highest expression. It is precisely this heritage that prompted Odile to devote herself exclusively to the production of Meunier-based Champagnes, enhancing the unique qualities of this grape variety through careful vinification. A path that combines tradition, experimentation and respect for the terroir, resulting in authentic and identity-rich Champagnes, a pure expression of the Vallée de la Marne.
