Domaine Les Monts Fournois is a project born from the collaboration between Raphaël and Vincent Bérêche and their cousin Juliette Alips. Located in Ludes, in the northern part of the Montagne de Reims, in an area known as La Grande Montagne, the Domaine, still under development, can be defined as the second estate of the Bérêche family.
Juliette Alips, born and raised in Champagne in a family of winemakers, discovered her passion for wine early and guided by her cousins Raphaël and Vincent, learned all the secrets of Champagne production, from the cultivation of the vines to the winemaking and assembly. After graduating at the Beaune wine school in 2020, Juliette honed her experience and knowledge at highly renowned producers such as Louis Latour in Burgundy, G.D. Vajra in Piedmont and the Maison Roederer.
Today Juliette, with the support of her cousins, manages the vineyards and winemaking of Domaine Les Monts Fournois. The first wines of the estate will be ready only in a few years, in the meantime, thanks to the vast network of contacts of the Bérêche family and the help of winemaker friends, a négociant project has been developed which uses purchased grapes and wine to create the Champagnes below the Domaine Les Monts Fournois label.
The name of each Champagne made indicates the origin of the grapes: "Côte" indicates the Côte des Blancs, "Montagne" the Montagne de Reims and "Vallée" the Vallée de la Marne. Furthermore, each label shows at the top right the name of the village or villages from which the grapes for that particular expression come from.
