Boizel

Founded in 1834 in Épernay by Auguste Boizel and Julie Martin, Maison Boizel is among the oldest and most respected families in Champagne, guardian of a savoir-faire passed down through six generations. Today, under the leadership of Florent and Lionel Roques-Boizel, the House prepares to celebrate 200 years of history, continuing to produce sincere and authentic Champagnes. Every detail, from the vineyard to the bottle, is handled with artisanal precision and innovative spirit, in perfect balance between tradition, ethics, and sustainability, aiming to highlight the personality of the terroirs and the purity of the grapes. 

The estate vineyards, covering about 7 hectares, are located in the finest Grands and Premiers Crus villages of the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims, with historic plots in Avize and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, the family’s places of origin. These are complemented by grapes from partner growers, sourced from top Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier crus in the Vallée de la Marne. Each plot is tended with the same care and respect, preserving its identity and the complexity that have always defined the Boizel style.

In the cellar, the philosophy remains to listen to nature and minimize intervention, maintaining the fruit’s purity intact. Each cru is vinified separately in small stainless-steel vats, creating a broad aromatic palette for precise and harmonious blends. The calibrated use of barrels and oak tuns complements the stainless steel, adding depth and finesse without altering the expression of the terroir. The result is clear and elegant Champagnes, capable of faithfully reflecting the identity of each vineyard.
